Effective date: July 27, 2026
Number Balloons is a children’s educational math game. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled by the Number Balloons mobile application and the Number Balloons support website.
Information handled by the app
Number Balloons does not require users to create an account and does not ask children or adults to provide a name, email address, phone number, location, photograph, or other personal information.
The app does not currently use third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics services. It does not access the device’s camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or precise location.
Information stored on the device
Number Balloons stores limited game information locally on the user’s device, including selected game mode, math operation, difficulty, high scores, tutorial completion status, and app preferences such as music and sound settings where applicable.
This information remains on the device and is not transmitted to Number Balloons or stored on an external Number Balloons server.
Users may remove locally stored game information by deleting the app. Apple may separately manage device backups under Apple’s own terms and privacy policies.
Children’s privacy
Number Balloons is designed for children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Children should not submit information through the support website. A parent or legal guardian should submit support requests on behalf of a child.
Please do not include a child’s full name, photograph, school, precise location, account credentials, or other sensitive information in a support request.
Support requests
When an adult submits the Number Balloons support form, the following information may be collected:
- The adult’s email address
- Support-request category
- The submitted message
- Optional app-version information
- Optional device model and iOS version
This information is provided voluntarily and is used only to respond to the request, diagnose technical problems, review feedback, improve Number Balloons, and protect the support service from spam, fraud, or misuse.
Service providers
The support website uses Formspree to process support-form submissions and deliver them to the Number Balloons support inbox. The website is hosted and protected by Cloudflare.
These providers may process submitted information and limited technical request information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, and security-related metadata, as necessary to provide and protect their services.
Sale, advertising, and tracking
Number Balloons does not sell personal information. The current app does not use personalized advertising, behavioral advertising, cross-app tracking, or advertising identifiers.
If advertising, analytics, accounts, or cloud features are added in a future release, this policy and the app’s privacy disclosures will be updated before those features begin collecting or using information.
Information retention
Support requests may be retained for up to 12 months after resolution so that support history can be maintained, recurring issues can be identified, and misuse can be prevented.
Information may be retained longer when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or protect the security of the service. Information that is no longer needed will be deleted or anonymized.
Requesting access or deletion
An adult who submitted a support request may ask us to review or delete information associated with that request.
Use the Number Balloons support form, select Privacy question, and submit the request using the same email address used in the original support request. Reasonable verification may be requested before information is located or deleted.
Because the app does not maintain user accounts or transmit gameplay information to Number Balloons, locally stored game data cannot be accessed or deleted remotely. Deleting the app removes its local data from the device, subject to device backup settings.
Disclosure of information
Support information may be shared with service providers only as necessary to operate the support website and respond to requests.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, investigate misuse, or protect users, the public, or the security of Number Balloons.
Security
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect support information. However, no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app, support services, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
